[Milsurplus] TA-838 hum buzz

I assume you have several i nstruments connected in parallel on the line.

If you make a call on any OTHER instrumen, is there no buzz? If you stay
on that call and lift the TA-838 off-hook, can the buzz be heard on all
the phones or just the TA-838.

Is the TS-838 near any sources of magnetic foield, such as an ole electric
clock or transformer?
