Hi Everyone and excuse the cross posting.

I have been trying forever it seems to get the antenna tuner unit ( Coffin
and ATU) for the MRC-108 I am trying to restore. I worked on these during
the early 70's for FAC's, and for USAFSS (never could figure why they had
them)
Dave Ross, N7EPI, had mentioned he had some equipment including a 618T-3
transceiver and coupler which could be repaired and antenna tuner.

I am not sure a 618T-3B would work, but it would be a cool add-on ( though
not sure the control head could work in 100Hz increments).

I know this is a strange one, but I also know the users of the Collins
Listserve and MilSurplus Listserve are usually a fairly good resource for
Strange requests.

Does anyone have a resource to get the coupler? I believe it is called a
670D-1. I think with that was a box with a 180 type coupler and the servo
control; units.

A URM157 with all modules would be a nice addition, but is down the road>

I have tried the standard locations ( Fair, and Murphy's) , and may need to
wait for Dayton to track something like this, but I am hoping someone will
at least talk to me.

Second of all, does anyone have info on Dave Ross (N7EPI)? I have tried to
track him down after he gave me his number last year, and I have attempted
to call, but get a very odd answering device which refuses all messages.

Any and all replies will be looked at and appreciated, and personal
contacts if you have equipment to sell is always welcome.

Thanks,

Jerry Chafee (Prior KA0DRP)
