I think there's several possibilities in the Surplus Conversion Radio 
Manuals and other conversion articles after the war, including S meters, 
noise reduction circuits, Q multipliers, speaker amplifiers, tone 
controls, well that gives you just an idea.  Beyond that, the shock 
mount alone is probably worth the price she is asking.
