March 27, '45 is IMO too late to make it into any POW camps.
Mar 27 ~ April '45, last month of European war, and things
were rapidly becoming chaotic in the Reich. I doubt that ANY
aid packages for POWs were transferred to the Germans from
here on out. Were they parachuted into the camps? Not in the
European theater. Dropped to civilians, where? Norway would
be about the only place I can think of.
I note that this month and year, however, fits in the same time
frame as the MBM and TRC-10 were developed, reading their
manual dates, and we do know where those radios ended up.
