Chuck, there are some folks on this reflector who will argue against 
anything they cannot control, like the weather, time of sunset and 
sunrise, etc., as well as against people who want to do something with 
their own equipment that they do not approve of, as if the Creator 
somehow placed them in charge.  The guys you need are on the reflector 
somewhere, they just have to read your ad.  As for the others, just 
ignore them. They apparently haven't seen your beautiful restoration 
work nor understand your dedication to perfection in everything, 
including perfectly working WWII avionics in a flying aircraft.  Perhaps 
they would feel differently if they actually saw it, but since it's a 
concept that bothers them, I sorta doubt even that would make a difference.
