If you are ONLY interested in voltage regulation, they are probably fairly
good, except if the PCB layout was not properly done because of the high
currents involved.

That said:

- The DC output may have a lot of spikey stuff on it.
- The DC input may have lots of current spikes.
- The thing almost certainly puts out lots of radiated EMI.

On the plus side, they should be pretty efficient.
