Hi,

I believe that assignment to duty as a band member is only ONE of their 
"duty stations". When I went to Southeast Asia once upon a time there 
was a musician helping to pass the ammo. They probably got their medals 
from the same kind of activities the rest of us got ours. Like me when I 
passed out aprons at the chow halls and made a birdhouse for the 
admiral's wife.
