Yes. But had we taken Eastern Europe instead of leaving it for the
Soviets, perhaps there would have been no Iron Curtain and no Berlin Wall. If we
had gone on to Bagdad, perhaps there would have been no Second Gulf War.
Anytime that you leave a job half done, someone has to come back later and redo
it.
