I find it ironic that the government, almost ANY government, is willing to
lavish all sorts of resources, other peoples' resources, on protecting
itself...  and everybody else be damned.

IMO, government purposely forgets that it is the servant of the people.

I imagine the facilities for the US government would put Saddam Hussein's
palaces to shame!
