Many years ago, I looked at an AN/ARC-94 (618T-2) RT unit and an
AN/ARC-102 (618T-3) RT unit and became convinced that it was the
only time I'd seen the same RT-number assigned to two units that
had some very definite differences (the former, a 400-Hz main
supply, the latter a 28 VDC main supply).  I eventually found out
that it was actually the RT-648/ARC-94 and the RT-698/ARC-102.
Not the same at all, but they sure look the same until examined
close up.  My faith in the JAN system was renewed.
