Er...not too helpful.  I cited several links with many pictures.
Which one do you address?  If it is from the first cited link,
how did you read the nomenclature plate on the pictured unit to
verify that it was *not* what the web page described?

I am familiar with the AN/ARC-51BX and the AN/MRC-107.  I have that
console for use with one of my AN/ARC-51BX units.  But right now
I can not rule out that something which looks like an RT-742/ARC-51BX
may in fact have a nomenclature plate that says RT-953/ARC-147, unless
I know for a fact that a RT-953 looks different from a RT-742.

Right now, I don't.  Jim does, and I await his input.
