[Milsurplus] Jury Rig as nautical term, per Clete

There are certainly"Jerry Cans" that were often carried on the backs of
Jeeps and other vehicles.

My GUESS is the term Jury Rig became corrupted to Jerry Rig sometime
around WWII.
