1-  It is rated "CONFIDENTIAL", one step, I think, above
RESTRICTED

2- the power requirements don't seem to be that flexible.
You either use it from the handcrank generator, OR you
use the separate equally large power supply with the
built in 6 volt battery. You can only charge from AC
mains, NOT operate from AC mains.  The book says
the built-in battery was for "close-in work", which i
take to mean observation without potential giveaway
noise risk from the generator. HOWEVER there is
still that size problem....not an easy set to move
around, or hide....
