WOW! Being able to look from every angle in high resolution is such a treat.
I see that it has the ARC 21 control box (no SSB mode position as seen on ARC 65 upgrade/mod).
I attended a B 36 crew reunion at Castle AFB many years ago. I wasn't a former crewman but went with a friend who was an aviation author and wanted to do some interviews. We heard some amazing stories including a number of claims that some secret missions were flown at 60,000 ft. Very hard to believe, but heard it several times from different crew members. They were flying H models, the featherweight mod.
We got to tour the interior of the B 36 at the base museum. It was TOTALLY gutted inside, not one panel instrument or radio, but very nice exterior, Still had the crew tunnel for getting between the fore and aft stations on a creeper trolley.
