[Milsurplus] OT: Microphone Point Source

You do see small mikes with tubes on singers and other performers on
televised concerts. However, I think those are hollow tubes, possibly
filled with an open cell foam or something, with the actual microphone
remoted.

The smallest good quality mikes I know of are made by B&K (the
Scandanavian one) They are made w/ SS and teflon or quartz and are the
industry standard. They come in 1", 1/2", and 1/4" as I remember, but
perhaps smaller now. BTW, they are NOT cheap!
