[Milsurplus] an/prc-127 info needed as manual is confusing

AN/PRC-127 is a VHF Highband tactical radio with frequency coverage of about 136-160 MHz. Channel spacing is 5.0 KHz, For each channel receive and transmit frequencies can be programmed independently. ctcss is standard and it will work well with ham radio repeaters.

hi all
      i'm thinking of getting a an/prc-127 , i've already downloaded the manuals for it ,question does the radio use 25 kc channel separation or 50 kc separation? the programming manual is not very clear on this.and does it also use ctcss as standard?
