[Milsurplus] an/prc-127 info needed as manual is confusing

hi all
       i'm thinking of getting a an/prc-127 , i've already downloaded 
the manuals for it ,question does the radio use 25 kc channel separation 
or 50 kc separation? the programming manual is not very clear on 
this.and does it also use ctcss as standard?
