Ray,

the R-1051G and H are very similar or identical to the earler units except 
for the synthesizer module (and front panel layout).

The Navy R-1051 also been around forever but don't think the R-1051 has much 
in common with the 1051G or H, maybe the same IF audio mod and the front end 
assembly, but not much beyond that.
