Recruiters nowaday won't want these losers. I've worked with some kids
recently who are considering military careers and when I took them to
talk to the recruiters they were told right up front "finish school",
"keep your record *CLEAN*". 

By the way, the most cooperative recruiters are the Marine Corp
recruiters when it comes to talking to young people who are NOT of
enlistment age. Army recruiters talked them for five minutes and
everybody esle told me to bring 'em back when they're 18. The marines
let them come around to participate in 'military instruction' and PT
nights for recruits who are waiting for boot camp and talk to new
marines who have recently completed boot camp. How's THAT for PR?

I doubt those boys are gonna step very far out of line (grin).

PS - I'm Navy

PPS - served on one of the three remaining destroyer escorts from WWII -
the one that was transferred to South Viet Nam and then inherited by
North Viet Nam (now just Viet Nam)
