I'm leaning that way too, Tim, though stranger things have occurred.  
There is a fascinating reference which breaks down all the major actions 
of TF38 during the war at http://pacific.valka.cz/forces/tf38.htm - it 
covers from August 1943 to September 1945.  That's where I had a bit of 
a puzzlement with the auction's description of the document being from 
August 1944. August, sure.  1944?  Not so clear.
