[Milsurplus] BA-1293 for GRC-9

I did not immediately find online text describing how to use watch batteries
to replace the GRC-9  BA-1293/U bias battery. If the replacement batts fit
into an emptied BA-1293, what are you using as filler, and as contacts?

There was one NL seller of stray GRC-9 various, also selling 3 watch-type
batts for this use, at $24, which I think is ridiculous.

I would like to buy one or three dead BA-1293 where the battery case is
not corroded thru.

I recently saw a couple GRC-9 receivers in my stock, where a bias battery
was kludged in, replacing the original BA-1293 clamp also. Did not look
good.

I am sending this to GRC-9, milsurplus, and Armyradios lists. If I learn 
something worthwhile, I will include these lists with the information. 

I disassembled a BA-1293/U from a set here, but the battery case was
weakened, and a plug pin at the bottom broke off; I don't know if can
make this one usable.
