[Milsurplus] Coding

Recap: I have an ART-4 'target sleeve' transmitter. It was for AA gun
practice, I believe, and scored the closeness og the shell approach to the
aircraft-towed target.

There is just about nothing on the web. I have traced out 1/2 of the unit.
It's a simple, transformer coupled, RF oscillator plus a PA, using both
halves of a 3A5. The PA section is tunes to roughly 75 - 125 MHz.

However, the oscillator section, if I'm reading the C values correctly, is
tuned about 100x LOWER.

There is obviously an issue with the cap coding. It has to do with where
the arrows are on a postage stamp mica. Really archane stuff.

I got some more info yesterday, and that may resolve it.

More later.
