The FM "calling frequency" for this part of the world is 29.600 MHz. For Asia, and some other parts of the world, the "calling frequency" is 29.300 MHz.
I don't think that there is much operation on 29.400 MHz.

I got my 524 realigned to get my "Red Flag" operations back, cheated a little bit and peaked slightly low.
But what is the mil-surplus calling frequency? 29.4 or 29.6?
