Ben,

I think you mean 5 wires.

I haven't found the wire color codes in the TM's but D-201 (the dynamotor 
proper in DY-88) has four commutators and four armature windings.  2 off 6 
volt, 1 off 12 volt, and 1 off 580 volt.  If I had to guess, I would guess 

W/BK = GND
W = 6V #1
BN = 6V #2
GY = 12V
R = 580V

Pull the dynamotor end bells and pull the + brushes.  ID the ground wire 
with an ohmmeter (unless there are shorted capacitors, it will be the only one 
to show continuity).  The commutator segment width or count will ID the 
voltages.  Push the brush back into one, then the other (not both at once) of 
the 6V brush holders while checking with an ohmmeter for continuity to 
chassis/ground on each of the four remaining wires.  The only wire with continuity 
will be 6V #1.  Reinstall its brush and repeat.  Next one to show 
continuity will be 6V #2.  Reinstall its brush and repeat to confirm the 12V winding. 
 I'd bet on the red wire being the 580V.
