My 1940 Bendix "Preliminary" manual, lists the 200 - 400 and 9050 -
15,800 Kcs tuning units and the 200 - 500 Kcs Antenna Tuning Unit
with the following caveat:

"Quantity of these units shipped with each transmitter unit subject
to Navy requirements and orders. Information on these units is
included in this instruction book in
the event that these units are made available to the service at some
subsequent date."

The manual also helpfully points out that "additional equipment (not
supplied under the contract) will be required for the satisfactory
operation on the Model ATD
Aircraft Transmitting Equipment." A list follows including " 1 -
Receiver" and "1 - Trailing Wire Antenna up to 200 feet in length"
among other items.

The designers oddly used large numbers of 2 watt composition resistors
in various series and parallel configurations in the transmitter as
opposed to smaller numbers
of higher wattage WW units. (Component shortages maybe?) Found most
of these 60 year old units to be FAR out of tolerance in my ATD.

I have an extra dynamotor, contact me off line if interested.
