You might end up disappointed unless the inductances and capacitances 
in the tuned circuits of your RBG match those of the commercial radios. 
You might find the dials reading corrrectly at some points, but the 
rest of the dial readings may not track correctly. Maybe a digital 
readout would not only be easier,but calibration would be exact

Does anyone have an RBG? I'm interested in replacing the dials with
something geared towards conventional ham radio and shortwave bands.
Been thinking about finding a set of HQ-120, 129, 140, or 150 dials to
replace the ones that are in there now.  Any suggestions or help in
