Yes, the FM-41A frame was cut down (in accordance with Signal Corps  
instructions) in some installations.  The mount in our 3/4 ton Command  
Car at Ft. MacArthur was altered in this way and resulted in the radio  
and the dynamotor being mounted side by side just behind the front
