[Milsurplus] SCR-284 Jeep

I am looking at a photo of an SCR-284 in Jeep. Radio is right behind driver 
seat,
in plane of vehicle, that is, facing the passenger side of the jeep. The 
driver's
seat reaches about the vertical midpoint of the radio. The dynamotor is 
between
the driver and front passenger seat. Looks like there is only one rear 
passenger
seat, the one  behind the front passenger. Where the left rear passenger 
seat
would be, looks like some kind of equipment case. My question is, what is 
the
radio mounted on? I think an FM-141 would take it higher. I wonder if the 
FM-141
is cut down, or what?
