It didn't require signing in for me, Mike. I clicked the link and up came
the photos. I'm not a member of the site.
The description Mack gave wasn't that they were the same radio (video vs
his photos), merely that the video shows the auto tune in action. Though
comparing the 'now' photos to the photo Nick took at Dayton, I'd hardly see
it as a basket case. Beyond one handle, the paint looked to be 90% or
better and it was in one piece (externally, at least). I bought an old Jag
XK-E once that was the true definition of a basket case: a mostly
disassembled rolling chassis with old bushel baskets containing the pieces.
I'm still confused as to why my ATC has TCZ slides on the bottom, unless
the Navy used this rail system before the later shock mount system was
available? Finding the mating rails is a challenge.
