[Milsurplus] ART-13 Assistance Please

I picked up a good condition ART-13/B at Dayton this past weekend.

Please provide some advice on a few issues:

1. It has the CDA-T Crystal Oscillator installed. Do you have a manual or
URL that you can send me for operating instructions and schematic? Has
anyone used this with a crystal on 3885 kc?

2. I have most Electric Radio issues but I'm specifically missing ER #175
Dec 03 that describes the mod to remove the locking current on the
auto-tune motor. Can anyone provide the modification instructions?

3. The auto-tune lower cover is a slightly different worn (washed out)
color than the rest of the radio. How do you advise restoring the front
panel to an original uniform color? I've seen suggested using an Acrylic
Wash of Mars Black paint to make things uniform. I'm concerned about
damaging the silk screen on the panel. Is there a better method? I'm very
experienced and achieve great results with applying new wrinkle paint but
would prefer not to do something that radical.

All advice most welcome and thank you in advance. This will be my second
ART-13.
