Ouch!!! Good tip!

Normally, I only look askance at NOS electrolytics; just too many 
possibilities with those!

At the moment I'm sort of slowly working over a Hallicrafters SX-42, 
and I'm encountering the
same sorts of issues. It hadn't occurred to me to give CLOSE scrutiny 
to the smaller caps.

Well...   that's why they made L / C analyzers...
