Jim:
If I remember correctly:
The center lug is the DC output positive.
The two outside lugs are the DC output negative.
The 1/4 and 3/4 lugs are the AC input.
If yours still works in some manner, yo might want to check the DC polarity with a VOM before disconnecting the existing selenium.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Selenium rectifier pin-out help needed
I have a 4 plate (3" diam.) one in a mains PSU for my TCS-8 I need to replace
because it runs warm and is becoming smelly..........
Picture this if you can:
One connector on each end of the stack, one connector between each plate (five
total). Outer ones are tied together. Four wires in/out.
If I use a modern replacement bridge, which wires (AC, + and -) go where?
Can't seem to find a diagram on-line showing this. I have seen other Se
rectifiers w/many more plates (for higher voltage rating?) These are even more
complex.......
I understand there's a voltage drop per junction I will need to compensate for
in order to keep the output voltage at it's original value.
Thanks for the help.
