I've owned two.  Both had problems with the "pot metal" 
right-angle lever thingies that operate the module 
band switches- you owners know which ones I mean.
I don't know what to call them.   They break and mung
the band swtiching.  It's a clunky design idea- 
right up there with the PTO band switching in an ART-13.
It might have worked if the production people hadn't 
tried to save a few pennies on metal for the levers.
If you've had one for 42 years and haven't had one
of those levers break, you've lived a charmed life.
Unless I found a handful of replacement levers,
I wouldn't want another one.
