The B version has 100Hz resolution, and the RF mail module is solid state; it is very similar to the 651S1 in design, and some of the modules are interchangeable.

What's the difference between the 3 and the 3B?, thought the entire 618T line was thru being that they still used tubes, is the 4CX250FG/8621 available at any price new? They show up NOS on EBay but how long ago were they manufactured? Think the same tube may be in the T-195 so its a good question for that too.

Good Luck on the 618T-3B. B versions still trade for $15K or so!
If you find one cheap, it would probably be best to sell it to an Avionics broker, and then buy it in 5 years, when it will likely go for about 1% of what it goes for now.
