[Milsurplus] Retransmission Question

In WW II, the WS 19 had a primative retransmission capability, either HF
to VHF or VHF to HF.

I suspect the former was mostly used (when it was used, I think fairly
rarely) so that all AFVs in a platoon could hear a common message from
command. I'd doubt the VHF to HF was ever really used.
