You are correct of course Hue on the lack of realism but on the other hand 
isn't (wasn't) it better to watch a show like that where the story line ( 
failed Priest kills men in war and finds redemption in a war torn church ) 
more important than technical details and high definition blood and guts as 
is so often the case in modern movies?  Hitchcock was a master at getting 
YOU to see what wasn't on the screen.  I prefer a good story to visual 
detail...
