[Milsurplus] Working Plexiglass

I have found this plastic material at places like Home Depot. I believe that they will cut it to size although you do have to purchase a "standard" size sheet and then have it cut. I cut my own using a "plywood" blade on my table saw. You have to cut the plastic slowly to prevent cracking.
As for cutting holes for the meters, I use hole saws with either a hand-held electric drill or a drill press (depending on the size of the plastic sheet - if it will fit on the drill press, or not).

Subject: [Milsurplus] Working Plexiglass
I'd like to create a Plexiglass panel, 19 inches
by 4.5 inches by (I guess) an eighth thick,
with two large holes drilled in it for mounting meters.
I've never before worked with Plexiglass, nor do I know
where to buy it, or if the supplier will cut it like the
building material stores will do for lumber.
Can someone advise me?
Thanks.
