It would be nice if people could learn and get their
dates right. 
In the listing it says;
USAF  AIRCRAFT Remote Switch for AN/AXT-2 Aircraft Transmitter Dated:  1943/1945

The US Air Force didn't exist until 1948.
Of course their not the only ones that do it, I see it all the time.
