[Milsurplus] "Great War" Radio Usage (And Surplus)

I restored a BC-14 (probably A) for a friend a while back.  I was pretty 
underwhelmed by it's performance.  One of the big problems is that the 
detector is connected across the entire secondary.  This kills the Q and 
leave the radio broad and insensitive.

There's an untuned winding feeding the detector.  I'll bet it worked 
like a champ.  Here's a picture of the same radio in the former Ft.
