[Milsurplus] DF Set

Michael,
The Detrola front panel and the tube section makes me think someone cobbled up a DF set in a custom enclosure. I have a few of those olde Detrola's somewhere in the Pile. I know of one NOS on a shelf in the "accessable" area but have never powered it up. I don't think the Detrola range receiver ever got a "BC" number, but the Setchell Carlson version did as the BC-1206-*.Some of the Detola's had a decal: "Do not remove from airplane". but ferry pilots did just that if they came across a "hot" receiver and it became thier "personal" range set.

Good grief! Oh well, what was it? Is there a Mil nomenclature for it? Not
xactly a BC-1206.
