OK, now I see it's a BC-1206A with the metal tubes.  I was previously thinking of the BC-1206C with 14-Volt loctals.  Mike, W6MAB

  Good Greif is right!! Someone cobbled together a 1206 with a homebrew loop and some mil surplus hardware. Did a ok job on the cabinet and front panel....but $300+ ...I guess wait and watch.
