Al, I mean the multiplexer that replaced the CF-1.
Thought it was TCC-7.   Maybe not.  Thinking 1960.
I've used only one TRC-8. Single channel link,
USAF between Andrews and the Pentagon.
1949-50.  Used as a simple order wire.
Cute little antennas.  Very unstable frequency.
Didn't it use a cavity in the oscillator, not a crystal?
I suppose the TRC-24 replaced all these, but
we were using some fine Siemens equipment
in Europe.  The beauty of TRC-1 in a multi-channel
repeater configuration was the way the T.M. showed
the frequencies to assign to avoid interference.
