Actually TRC-8/TRC-11 at 230-250 MC.  These also used the CF-1 and CF-2 
multiplexers.  TRC-7 was an AM VHF radio for forward air controllers.

We have a TRC-8 on display in the Radio Technology Museum WWII Tactical 
Comm. display. http://www.rtm.ar88.net/  Anybody have a CF-1 gathering 
dust somewhere?
