[Milsurplus] RCA AVT-112(not -112A) Questions

OK, before I get started, I am specifically
referring to the AVT-112, *not* the AVT-112A.
I am just as guilty as anyone of lazily dropping
the A suffix, but it has come to my attention that
the AVT-112 and the AVT-112A are slightly different animals.
(Actually, RCA is guilty also. The manual I have has a photo
captioned AVT-112 when the photo is of the A version).
The AVT-112A has provisions for field changing the
supply voltage from 6 to 12 or 24 by changing jumpers
on a terminal strip, and removing and replacing a
metal tab underneath the tuning chart. The AVT-112
does not have these provisions, and the supply voltage
is permanently marked on the front panel.
Questions.
1. How common(or uncommon)is the AVT-112?
2. Was the AVT-112 available in 12 or 24 volt versions?
(Mine is 6V).
3. Anyone have the manual for the AVT-112 or a schematic,
so I can see if there are any subtle differences between the
two? From the top, the two seem identical, but parts layout underneath
the chassis is different.
Thanks
