[Milsurplus] Ten Mtr FM Calling Freq?

29.300 MHz is the FM calling frequency for Asia, Europe, and Africa.  You can work a lot of JA stations on 29.300 MHz when the band is open.

Hi Dave and Al,

29.6 MHz is still very popular for the 10m FM usage.

Not sure about military radios, but it would seem an ideal starting point for any radio, and 
perhaps have an alternate nearby frequency nearby that you can move to when there is a 
heavy band opening.

I made MANY happy contacts on 29.6 FM using an old Comco police motorcycle radio that 
had TWO 6146 RF final tubes in it. It was QUITE a large beast!
