Hammarlund made the SP-400 immediately after WWII. It was a sort of 
warmed over pre-war Super Pro, but worked fine and kept the push-pull 
audio output, so it  sounded  good. In 1945-46, I'm sure a lot of 
companies were struggling to convert back to civilian production, and 
get something to offer the consumer as quickly as they could. I think it 
used miniature tubes in the front end, it's performance on 10 meters was 
better than most others of the time.  I don't know if it had a military 
version, but would be surprised if it didn't.
