Correction - I took the figures I quoted off of the Typical Tuning Chart 
for the Range D Tuning Unit in the GP-6a, GP-6, GP-7 manual.  I didn't have an 
actual Range D unit to look at but I've just been informed that it says 
3000-4525 KC.
