I wouldn't get too upset about the article.
It *does* seem kind of downscale from the usual ARRL standard, but that's 
the
times. Anyway if 7 people worldwide actually do this, it just won't diminish 
the
numbers of BC-221s and LM's that much.

I was thinking, Dave should write them an article about "Low B+ Operating 
the
Classics". If you can show how to operate classic radios using easier to 
build
low voltage supplies, that might interest more folk who are put off by 
serious
B+ joltage.

Kludge, if you can be patient, I have a TS-164 case. It has a the ant. 
connector
gone and an additional 1/8" hole added to the top. It's on a TS-164 and I 
have
a better cabinet I was going to put on it instead, so the present one will 
be
surplus.
And yes, I still plan to gather RUGF components for people, but my good
intentions get derailed....
