[Milsurplus] TCS ,18M and the WRC

Sorry I missed the WRC-1, can see where that would be the radio before the URC-35, thing is though if you look at a TCS there is nothing in common with it and the WRC-1 or later URC-35, maybe the last series of overhauled TCS that was painted gray but besides color no relationship. The URC-7 at least uses octal tubes in the transmitter section and has an all tube receiver with dynamotors; now understand that it was USCG only. The ones I saw were in that service. The URC-8 looks like the missing link. Somehow the TCS just stayed in service over a long period of time until the wide deployment of the SSB WRC-1
