The tube sickness guy has a web site for his company:
http://hotglassaudio.com/
On the web site I read the following:
Audio should bring the music closer to the forefront within the audio playback chain. Much of the high end brings you closer to the GEAR, not the music.
Hot Glass Audio's wants the music lover to emerge from the listener stuck in the Audionervosa quagmire, unable to appreciate what essentially got him or her into this hobby in the first place: The Music.
We specialize in circuits and gear that bring the music to you in full glory, harmonics and timber intact. These vintage valve amps must be heard at their full potential to be believed.
Hot Glass Audio can bring you there.
Can anyone explain to me what that means? Wonder if he still works with tubes? Can you get to Audionervosa with transistors? Or maybe you get there thru New Jersey?
Also on the web is a blog about his sickness before it was assumed to be "Tube Sickness" at that time it was thought to be Lyme disease, guess you can't sue ticks.
Hypothetical question, if I sell a old military radio on EBay or to a individual and they become sick from the lead solder, or lead base paint, or PCB or radium laced display does this mean I am libel? If I attach a written warning like Fair radio dose will that exempt me? Or just sell at Hamfest wearing a disguise?
Have to admit that the Sick Tube guy makes me nervous about selling anything.
